Short Personal Description:

I was born and raised in Fort Collins and am a Rocky Mountain graduate!  In fact my family settled in Fort Collins in 1908 and we have loved living and raising our families in the Fort Collins community.

Educational and Professional Background:

I went to Colorado State University and received both my Bachelors degree as well as my Masters degree from CSU. The 2020-21 school year will be my 18th year in education. I taught 5 years of elementary school and 11 years of high school.  This will be my second year as an assistant principal/athletic director and my first year at Rocky Mountain High School.  In addition to teaching, I spent a lot of time coaching prior to being an administrator.  I  coached track at field for 20 years, 16 of those I was a head track and field coach where I had the opportunity to coach 3 state championship teams, 4 runner up teams and 28 individual state champions as well as help 96 student athletes achieve their goal to compete in college.  In additional to coaching track and field, I was an assistant high school cross country coach for 10 years and we had 5 state championship teams and 3 of those teams finished in the top 6 in the nation.  I was an assistant football coach for 4 years and also coached a little middle school basketball.  Teaching and coaching has always been a passion of mine and I am looking forward to developing strong relationships with the students, parents and staff at RMHS!
